“We at the Filipino American Cancer Care and The Inova Saville Cancer Screening and Prevention Center at Inova Schar Cancer Institute are teaming up to save lives and to support everyone impacted by this horrendous disease. Thank you again to all those who participated and volunteered this morning in our Free Cancer Screening activity such as mammography, FIT kits for colon cancer screening and the new method of detecting cancer through a blood test. We are looking forward to registering more people in our future free cancer screeningactivity sometime in the Fall or Winter.
Join us in honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Filipino American History Month this October 2024! We're excited to announce the Filipino American Cancer Care biggest fundraising event, the “FACC FASHION FOR COMPASSION CHARITY GALA,” happening on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 3pm at the Hyatt Regency Reston in Reston, VA.
Proceeds will benefit cancer patients in the Philippines, United States and beyond. Seven respected fashion designers from the Filipino American and African-American communities will showcase their talent in support of this cause, under the direction of the outstanding and talented Fashion Director, BUBOI ASUNCION of MGI ENTERTAINMENT.
Whether you're an experienced model or new to the runway, if you believe in the fight against cancer and want to support this noble cause, we encourage you to join us. It's a fantastic opportunity to make connections and contribute to our cancer charity.

Exciting news! The Filipino American Cancer Care will join the 3rd Annual Saville Health Fair on Saturday, May 18th, from 9 am to 1 pm, offering a day of free family entertainment. The expert team from INOVA Schar Cancer Institute Screening and Prevention Center will conduct informative sessions, provide free cancer screenings, and offer tips for healthier living.
